The number of passengers on rural public transport has seen a decrease in the last ten years.
The years of 2020 and 2021 understandably saw a large drop in the number of total rural public transport passengers. The same is applicable to all other public transport operators, i.e. those who run the country’s various municipal bus services.
The routes in the country’s southwest corner see the highest number of passengers of all rural public transport.
